My company still uses a way old copy of Lotus Notes client, version 5.0.12 is what I've got. We are supposed to upgrade sometime this year. (Can't happen soon enough...) But, I'm stuck with it for now. It seems to be real adament about running on the primary monitor. I have tried using shortcut extensions to tell it to run on the second monitor, but is still always comes up on primary monitor. I can then move it to the second monitor after startup, but it won't start there. But, more annoying, after I move it to the second monitor, dialogs still show up on the first monitor. Anything that can be done about this?

Oh, by the way, the Notes client disables the Ultramon Window Menu additions. Notes is not in the list of disabled applications, but the menu additions don't show up anyway.

Try if setting Show (on the UltraMon - Window tab) to Last Used Position fixes the problem.

Some applications which don't get positioned correctly when using the other options will work fine with Last Used Position (due to the implementation of this option being a bit different).

Once you have changed Show to Last Used Position, launch the application, then move it to the secondary monitor and close it. The next time you launch the application, UltraMon will try to restore it to the previous position.

UltraMon does not support dialog repositioning, support for this feature will be considered for UltraMon 3.

Regarding the disabled or missing menu commands: Notes most likely also customizes the window menu, which might cause this issue. Unfortunately there is no workaround for this.

Thank you for your response. Alas, last position used also does not work, it still shows up on primary monitor.

Actually, now this is a moot point. Now that I have swapped displays (per my other thread) I now want most stuff on the primary monitor, including Notes. So, that solves the problem.
