My Win XP Pro PC has a 128MB Matrox Parhelia graphics card, and until now I've used it without problems for almost two years with an Iiyama monitor connected via DVI. I've now bought a second monitor which I've connected to the second DVI port on the card, but the second monitor doesn't seem to be recognised (ie, it gets no signal). I can swap the monitors around, and both work just fine in the main port, but whichever is connected to the second port gets no signal. Do I have to do something to enable dual monitor support on the Matrox card?

Have you tried opening up your Matrox PowerDesk HF and selecting the Multi-Display Setup , then you need to select how many monitors you want to set up, in your case select 2. Then you have four two display configurations to choose from. Then it will detect your extra monitor.....Hope this helps....Jet
