My pc has an agp card nvidia fx5500 128mb with two monitors in span configuration and it works fine.

My question is: if i add a pci card, nvidia, it is possible connect 4 monitor in span configuration?

Thanks for your replay

Not in true "Span" mode, only in regular extended desktop mode.

This means that it is not possible to have a single virtual desktop?

You can have one desktop across all the monitors, but the taskbar will only be on one monitor, unless you use something like UltraMon, which will allow each monitor to have its own taskbar, which is a cool feature. It will still be one big desktop, and you can move windows to any screen, or expand them across multiple screens. For office productivity applications, it doesn't really make a difference if you use span mode or extended desktop mode (I prefer extended desktop mode), but it often makes a difference for games and videos.
