I have the intention to install a pci card on my pc, at present i have found a pci card 64 bit nvidia fx5500 128 mb.
My M/B is an Asus A7V880 with 5 pci 32 bit slots, but no one slot 64 bit.
My question is: does the 64 bit card work on a 32 bit slot? If yes, how does it work?
If not, the only solution is to buy a M/B with a 64 bit slot to add a second card?
Thanks for your reply

64-bit refers to how the memory is accessed, not the PCI connector. I'm sure it is a regular 32-bit PCI connector.
