I searched the forums for this topic, but no luck.
Does UltraMon support dual processors?
If not, do you think UltraMon would benefit from using dual processors?
I know Adobe Photoshop has multiprocessor support and I've noticed a signicant increase im performace, so I was wondering if the same would apply to UltraMon.
Thanks.

UltraMon will work fine on multi-processor systems, I use it on a dual Xeon system with HT myself.
Most UltraMon tasks don't use much CPU though, and are single-threaded, so there shouldn't be much change in performance, if any.

Got it, I was just wondering.

One feature which should profit from an additional CPU is mirroring.
Mirroring itself can be quite CPU intensive, and you'll always have other applications running as well.
Please note that I haven't tested if there is actually a performance improvement, and if yes, how much.
