This could happen for the following reasons:
- span mode is enabled. You would need to switch back to extended desktop mode
- you are using Windows 2000, and your video card is older than the Radeon 9000, or you don't have the latest drivers installed. The problem is that ATI doesn't support standard multi-monitor mode under Windows 2000 with older video cards, the only workaround would be to install a newer video card or upgrade to Windows XP
