I have the original 64MB ATI Radeon 8500 in a 4X AGP port. I have two 22" Mitsubishi 2060u CRTs, trying to run both at 2048x1536. The 8500 has 1 VGA and 1 DVI-I ports. The VGA works great, but the DVI port can not refresh the screen fast enough, it "flickers" badly. I will get a new MB with AGP 8X. What is the minimum card and memory I need to run both CRTs at 2048x1536 without any refresh rate problems? How can I tell, what do I look for in specs on video cards? They usually only indicate that the card supports a monitor at 2048x1536 at 75 or 85 Hz. Nothing about what load 2 CRTs can handle.

Matrox posts this info about their cards on the www site (although probably you don't want their card due to slowness/expensivness...)
