I find that when I have Nview desktop management enabled, the maximization of windows on monitors with a smart taskbar is incorrect.

That's most likely an issue with the nView Desktop Manager, I would recommend installing the latest Nvidia drivers if you haven't done this already.

It actually fixed it. It seems that disabling and renabling those specific features worked out the issue.
