I've found that UltraMon causes taskbar buttons to disappear when they're resorted with Taskbar Commander (http://www.mlin.net/misc.shtml) or moved with Alt-Tab++ (http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA013430/program.html).
Following the operation, all the taskbar buttons seems to slide to the left until only the last one touched is shown.
After that, the only way to get them back is to use Alt-Tab to select each application.

Thanks for the bug report, I've been able to reproduce the issue. I'll look into it for the next release.
