I have a Dell Deminision 8400 desktop computer with an ATI dual monitor card. I am currently running 2 minitors. I want to increase that to 3. I run the Windows Media Edition OS. How would I go about doing this? Can I add a second card for the 3rd monitor? Is the ability to use 3 monitors a factor of the OS or the chipset on the motherboard?
Thanks for your help!

Using windows XP you just add another graphics card and plug in the third monitor. I assume this would work with Windows Media edition but I don't know.

all versions of xp support up to 10 displays.
simply purchase another pci or pci-e video card (physically check the slots on your motherboard for what type and whether you might need a low-profile card (if you have a small form factor case).
