I have 2 monitors hooked up to a 9700 pro and I have had it this way for almost 2 years now. But lately when I move a window from one screen to another the window gets distorted real bad. I was thinking maybe it could be a driver or some software causing the problem, when I hit refresh it clears it up.

hmm. Are you using an LCD and a CRT? or two lcds? Are they the exact same models and refresh rates?
How are they connected dvi or vga?
If I had to make a guess I think you had the same problem as me. I had to 17 inch lcds by samsung one was 12ms and the other was 10ms (or 6ms .whatever the recent one was) 710T and 730B. I had a ati 9600 pro and one was running on dvi and one on vga ..when I dragged windows over I got rather horrible looking output especially when one edge was touching the 2nd screen. Solution ..i got another 730b and dual dvi graphics card ..and I have no problem what so ever.
Have you tried minmizing and the pulling out again.. that was the work around that helped me.
