I recently received a new laptop from school for class. I connected my old desktop's monitor to the laptop, and almost everything works fine. The only problem i have is that the second monitor will only be one resolution, 1024 x 768. If I change the resolution to a larger setting it stretches the screen outward making it so spaces of the second desktop aren't visible until you mouse over to them. Smaller resolutions also seem to work fine, but 1024 X 786 is kinda big, i'm closer to the monitor than i'd like to be due to dorm room constraints.
Is there something I missed in the settings options that can change this? If so let me know! Thanks :D
