My computer recently suffered from some really bad GPU overheating problems and I ended up breaking Ultramon along with a few other components. Though, bit by bit, I've restored my computer to a functioning state. I first tried fixing the wallpapers on my own, but...none of it was any help. Then I realized that once when my computer had crashed in the numerous past attempts, that windows had mentioned something about Active Desktop being disabled, so I tried to fix it on this lead. And...I did! Here are the steps I took to re-enable UltraMon's wallpaper changing functionality.

1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Display Properties
3. Click Desktop tab
4. Click Customize Desktop button
5. Click the Web tab in the Desktop Items window.
6. Check "My Current Home Page" to enable the Active Desktop.
7. Click the OK button.

Your desktop should flicker and your homepage will probably show up on your desktop as your active desktop (mine was a blank page since my homepage is about:blank)

8. Repeat steps 1 through 5 and unclick "My Current Home Page"
9. Click the OK button.

Your homepage should disappear from your desktop and you should be able to freely change your wallpaper using Ultramon.
