Hi I actually wanted to get finally a third monitor. I had 2 monitors plugged in (in my X800 Pro AGP Video-Card) and I though of plugging in a third monitor. Now the question is: what kind of Video-card do I need to get this thing started? I used a old ATI Pci card and my Mainboard (ASUS A7N8X-X) seemed to work with the card, but in windows I couldn't install a driver because Windows said that he can not get the card to work or something. I also tried to put the card into different pci slots but same problem. Why that? please help me 'cause I really want to get this third monitor working :( and another question: what do I have to do else after plugging in the card!? thx @ all 4 your support

If you get a code 10 error in Device Manager for the PCI video card, you'll need to set it as primary in the BIOS.
Look for an option in the BIOS which either sets the AGP or PCI video card as the primary video card.

omg I think he's kidding me -.- the pc starts booting up and i can see a picture on the monitor that is plugged in into the pci-card, BUT when the boot-screen of windows appears the picture on the monitor freezes and stops moving. also after I heard the windows-startup-sound the monitor just showed the bott screen. why that? I used both of my graphic-gards but the same problem with both. what is wrong?

Mixing Graphic card brands is tricky, If both cards used the same drivers, I think you would be OK
