I have not been able to get counterstrike to work consistently with my dual monitor setup. I have installed Ultra-Mon and created a shortcut that disables the secondary display. Usually after a reboot it works once, but then when I try to run it again later, counterstrike crashes when I try to run it. Has anyone had any success with this?

What operating system are you using?

Oh sorry. Windows ME. DirectX 8.

Try disabling/enabling the second monitor from Display Properties instead of with an UltraMon Shortcut. If Counter-Strike has the same problem, it is most likely some issue with the display driver.

If anyone is interested it works now...it was a driver issue with my Radeon. I installed some very beta drivers and ATI seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for a great product Christian.
