Can someone please outline how I would STOP windows media player from playing on the second monitor? I was told that UltraMon can do this, but I am unsure. If it can, please tell me how I would do that so I can download a demo and try it? If this facilitates this I will buy it just for that. I hate that Microsoft imposes this without a configuration option.

Do you have the video playing on the first monitor, as well as fullscreen on the second monitor?
If yes, the video mirroring feature of your video card is activated. You can disable it via the settings for your video card under display properties > advanced.
