My system either hangs, freezes, shuts down, reboots, or the monitor gets vertical bands. A hard boot is the only solution. I can destroy a picture in photoshop all day long but as soon as I start IE (even just to browse my HD) I crash. My system: PIII733 ASUS CU4V-X mobo with VIA694X chipset 256Megs of (Micron) SDRAM@133mHz RadeonVE Soundblaster live soundcard WinME 3Com NIC
I've the latest drivers and updates from VIA, ATI, Creative, DirectX8, IEupdates, etc.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Woops, That would be an ASUS CUV4X-E mobo with the VIA 694X chipset... Oh and I have done a virus scan and I'd watch my Mobo voltages and there were no spikes. Could there be a log file somewhere that I could look at and send to someone?
