I currently run 3 monitors on my system. The primary video card is agp radeon 9800 and I run two monitors off of it. The secondary card is a PCI nvidia card. I can run flight sim 2004 on the 2 agp monitors and it works nicely.
I am planning the following new system.
asus p5nd2-sli deluxe 2GB ram with Intel 3.6Ghz 660 CPU
two Nvidia 7800GT PCIexpress cards
I don't plan to run in SLI mode. The manual states in a chart that if you run in multiple monitor mode the cards will run at 8x instead of 16x.
My question...is a 7800Gt runnin at 8x faster than my agp radeon 9800? My end goal is to run FS2004 with 3 monitors.
