I have been tracing down a lock up and crash issue on my system. Os is XP SP2, mobo: Abit AV8. Main card was a AGP 5700LE, now a 6600GT AGP. Secondary card is a 5700LE. I thought it was bios settings, then I thought it was a memory problem, I then removed my secondary card (dual output Nvidia 5700LE PCI) and everything works perfect. Can anyone explain why? I tried different slots prior to removing card, etc.

Now that the card s removed, is there a good dual output PCI card that will work well?

Also, the reason I went with two Nvidia card is so I could use Nview (i found it doesn't work without having two Nvidia cards), is there a software that would replace the Nvidia Nview (i can't stand windows spnning across all 4 monitors.)?

I don't know what the hardware issue might be, but you shouldn't need additional software to prevent windows from maximizing to the desktop, switching from span to Dualview mode will fix this.

The option is on the Nvidia tab under advanced display properties.
