This may sound strange, but ever since I've started using multiple monitors, I had a problem with windows breaking one of my toolbars when I disable my secondary monitor.
I keep a "My Computer" toolbar at the top of my screen, (Try it: Drag the "My Computer" icon to the top of the screen) The toolbar is set to auto-hide, and when I disable my secondary monitor, either through the Display properties, or through UltraMon, the toolbar "breaks." When I say breaks, I mean if you pass your mouse over it's location, you can see the outline of it, but where the toolbar should be is a whole lot of desktop wallpaper, like the contents were erased from the inside of the toolbar.
This problem only happens when the toolbar is in auto-hide mode, and as soon as I reenable the secondary monitor, the toolbar reverts back to it's functional state.
I've had this problem with Windows ME, 2000, and XP Home and Pro. So I think it's a recurring Microsoft feature bug.
Any ideas?
