Question I would like to be able to hook up 2 LCD Monitors to a laptop. My laptop says it has dual monitor capabilities, but I only have one port to plug in my monitor cable. Can a splitter be bought so that I would be able to connect to monitors?

Thanks,

Tyler

The general idea with laptops is that you use 1 monitor + the laptop LCD. I have heard that you can add a second monitor with a PCMCIA graphics card.

Ye, when it says dual monitor it means the laptop plua another screen. You could always try the Matrox Dualhaed thingy though.

Ok your saying use 1 monitor plus the laptop monitor, ok then I want to use 3 monitors, two external and the laptop. Anyways to do this, I like the idea of the website that uses the matrox product, I don't like the price though...any other idea's?

Thanks,

Tyler

Actually, with alot of dells that I have seen the docking stations have the dual ports in back, usually 1 dvi and 1 vga that you can use for dual monitors.
