Is it required to tweak the BIOS when adding a video card to computer? I already have onboard video which I am using. I wish to add ATI card to PCI slot for the other monitor. Is there any special setup I need to be concerned with with respect to the BIOS? Is this type of setup recommended or should I just buy a dual video card?
Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

Usually you don't need to change any BIOS settings.
As far as I know a PCI video card should work fine together with the onboard card, but installing an AGP card would disable the onboard card.

Hello I need some assistance. I am trying to hook up 2 monitors. When I put in the Gforce 5500 PCI video card, It disables my onboard video. There is NO option in the bios to enable it and when i go to device manager, it says "This device can not start." My friend says I might have to "flick" the bios... I tried to reenstall the bios but it doesnt help. I am running a Dell optiplex gx1. kind of old but there has to be a way to get my onboard to register.
