Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Games in 800x600 cause problems with secondary monitor

When running a game in 800x600 mode on my main primary monitor (normal desktop res is 1280x960) the desktop stretches to my secondary monitor on the right. This causes whatever programs I have maximised there so I can monitor them while gaming to shift to the right side and I can't see them anymore. This doesn't happen when I have the secondary monitor on the left side position, only the right side does this. The secondary monitor is a widescreen LCD at 1600x900.

This seems to be an issue with Windows, another workaround is to change the resolution of the primary monitor to 800x600 before launching the game.
