I am getting so fed up with this! Ulramon is like a godsent in most cases... it runs great and works magic for my multi-monitor setup (when I need it - I'm a power-usage freak, so I disable them when i'm not using them).
Except for this one problem.
When I enable the secondary monitor - on my 64mb GeForce 4 MX 420 (primary is a 128mb GeForce FX5200, AGP) - it enables, then the cursor starts leaping all over the screen and clicking things, one movement/click per second, until I nearly beat the crap out of my computer to get it to stop! I can move the mouse in this time (all over the screen) and it'll just jump and click something else random in the next second (usually closing windows, opening programs, sending mail, so on and so forth).
I can't find any way to stop it other than to let it wear itself out. It doesn't do this when I use the Windows display properties panel to change it, or the "configure displays" screen in Ultramon - only when I use the menu option "disable secondary" or "enable secondary".
Ideas? Need more info from me? Just... gah, before I punch a hole in my UltraMonitor!! >.<

Enable Secondary also restores window positions, maybe that's what causes the problem.
To verify if that's the case, try the following:
disable the secondary monitor via Disable Secondary, run regedit.exe and delete the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Saved Positions\Windows', then re-enable the secondary monitor via Enable Secondary.

Hey, that seems to have worked! Did it just as you said, and they all turned on without a fight.
This time I'll try it with some windows on each monitor (they were blank last time)...
Okay, yep, it started up again... it moved the windows back to the monitors, but before it did that, it bounced my cursor around and clicked things on the third monitor, the second monitor, then when it got to the first monitor it actually moved the windows (including one window it shouldn't've moved).
But at least that tells me how to avoid the click-fest! :P

If you would like to do further troubleshooting, please export the Saved Positions\Windows registry key to a .reg file the next time, and send me the file to support@realtimesoft.com, maybe there's a problem with the saved settings.
To export a registry key, right-click the key and select Export from the menu.

All sent. I found it actually started acting up again after I had some windows on the other monitors - but didn't, the next time I tried doing it (like, I said I figured out how to avoid it? Guess not...).
Another piece of software I have installed is FlyakiteOSX. That's caused a problem with color-selection dialog boxes (limited to 2 characters per box), so I'm not sure if that would affect Ultramon...
Thanks for your help, glad to see a developer actually browsing his own forum! ;)

Hmm, I tried sending you the mail but I got a notification saying it wasn't able to send for the past hour, so let me know if you get the message...

So far I haven't received the mail, what's the error message you got?
