Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Problem with ASUS EN6200 TC card and UM 2.6

I have recently switched to a PCIe MB (Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI) and an ASUS EN6200 TC graphics card. This is a PCIe card.

My video system is stable until I install UM. Then it conflicts with my video drivers, and my system switches to the default VGA mode. When I uninstall UM and reboot, everything returns to normal.

I am using the ASUS drivers that came with the card because I have not been able to install the latest ones. The installation stops with an error.

I would appreciate any ideas you have.

I have just succeeded in installing the latest nVidia drivers (by allowing them to go on my C: drive).

After installing UM 2.6, everything seems ok now.

Oops! After restarting, the problem recurred.

So now I have the latest nVidia drivers for the 6200, but UM 2.6 is still not compatible.

Again, please help.

Uninstalling UltraMon's mirroring feature should fix this.

To do this, go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon from the list, click on Change, then deselect the mirroring feature on the Customize Installation page of the setup.

The problem seems to be a conflict between some video card drivers and a driver used by UltraMon's mirroring feature. As far as I can tell this is an issue with the video card driver.
