I'm using the Dell on board video (82915G) with a PCI RADEON 9250 video card to get my dual display. With the dual display I use the VGA output on the PCI card and that works perfectly. My problem is that using the DVI output (with a DVI to VGA converter) the monitor attached to that head doesn't work in windows2k.
During bootup.... RADEON VGA - ON RADEON DVI - ON INTEL ONBRD - OFF (figure this is because I set PCI as primary on MB)
During Windows...
RADEON VGA - ON RADEON DVI - OFF INTEL ONBRD - ON
If i go into the dispaly properties/Settings it displays all three monitors as enabled. This holds true no matter which Monitor I set as Primary. One thing I did notice that might be strange is that when I go into the RADEON Advanced settings, the display tab has the monitor attached to the DVI connection as a FPD even though it's a CRT. Could that be the problem and is there a way to tell it it's a CRT?
Thanks for any help.
