I have just upgraded to win2kpro from windowsME... I run
asus a7a-266 mb with 1.2 amd proc... thought all was going
well till it came time to install video cards.. I run
stealthIII as the agp card, and run 3 SiS 6326 pci cards
for other monitors.. the stealthIII had no probs... the
pci cards are not getting recognized.. I have downloaded
the updated drivers for win2k from SiS, but win2k will not
update the drivers.. I have tried "update driver", "add
new hardware" and have even tried to put them in
manually.. bios has been upgraded.. service packs have
been installed... just a couple questions:
1) is win2k multiple monitor capable???
2) is there another way of getting the drivers that have
been downloaded into the system???
3) or am I just missing something simple???

thanks.. Ringer

Win2k only has certain cards supported for multimonitor use. Look in the HCL.txt file (search for it) to find the (short) list of cards that support multimon in Win2k.
