I've just bought a Radeon 9550 and wanted to hook up 2 monitors just to mess around with, i also had to but a dvi-vga adaptor because monitors have vga plugs.
I hook'd em both up and after a little bit of tinkering i managed to get both monitors working so that i could drag applications and things between the two monitors.
But one monitor had all the colours really screwed up, the one going through the dvi port, i then swapped the ports the monitors where in and the other one had the same problem...
I tried messing around with the colours a bit in ati catalsyt thingy and when i tried to change the slider for blue nothing happens, could my card be faulty or is it the adapter not letting "blue through"??

Sounds like a bad or loose adapter. First make sure no pins are bent or missing on the adapter. Then try re-attaching the adapter to the video card a few times to see if it helps. If not, try a new adapter.

The adapter seems to be fine...
I've checked and it goes in fine...
I'll try and get another adapter off a friend and see if that works.
