Hi. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have scoured the forums and tried everything I know, but can't make this work with AGP as primary card. here is my configuration:

Win 98se
P4 1.7 256 ram
MSI 6339 Motherboard
Award bios

Nvidia GeForce2 GTS - AGP
Matrox G450 Dualhead - PCI

If I configure the bios to have the matrox pci be primary, everything works fine (up to 3 monitors) but if I activate the agp slot first, it boots to a certain point, then the monitor gets a purple pattern, then changes to a reddish pattern and freezes. I have switched around the pci cards to try and change irq's, but to no avail. I have the latest drivers for everything. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

From my own experiences, i never had any success getting my NVIDIA-based cards to work together with my Matrox cards, under Windows 98 or ME. But, upon installing Windows 2000, all was well, and the cards play nice together.

To summarise:
Win98, Matrox + NVIDIA = bad
Win2K, Matrox + NVIDIA = good!

Cards used:
AGP GeForce 256 DDR,
AGP Diamond Viper V770u,
PCI Matrox Millenium I & II (many samples).

Another interesting point:
Voodoo3 2000 PCI has been the most compatible so far, in all multimon configurations i've tried (with the above cards, and some others).
