Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Splitting a VGA signal into 4 independent ones (no clone mode!)

Hello,

Is it possible to split 1 VGA input (the source is a PC) towards 4 independent VGA outputs, but not in clone mode?

For example, I have my Windows desktop in 1280x960 resolution, and the VGA signal would be splitted into 4 signals of 640x480: top-left part of Windows desktop, top-right part, bottom-right part and bottom-left part.

No need to have an expensive quad graphic card to have 4 independent monitors...

Is this technically possible to split a VGA signal like this?

Thanks.

You could do this with a video wall processor, this is a device which takes the output of a single video card and splits it between multiple monitors.

Thank you very much, this is exactly what I'm looking for.
