When i try playing counter strike with ultramon running, a mouse cursor appears in the middle of the crosshair at random points which can get quite annoying...
Any idea how to fix this?

Do you have an UltraMon taskbar on the monitor on which you play the game?
If yes, upgrading to UltraMon 2.6 should fix the problem, in earlier releases the taskbar remained accessible if fullscreen applications were running, which can cause the problem you described.

No i play the game on my main monitor which has the default taskbar...

Unfortunately I don't know what would cause this.
For further troubleshooting, please try if disabling any of the following features under UltraMon Options fixes the problem:
- General tab, uncheck 'enable moving of maximized windows using the mouse'
- Smart Taskbar tab, uncheck 'use Smart Taskbar'
- Window Title Bar tab, uncheck both 'add button' checkboxes
- Window Menu tab, uncheck both 'add command' checkboxes
