Hey guys, I have a question to see if anyone knows how to do this? I am an avid user of Ultramon and bought it last year. I am trying to figure out how to make any window that opens out of this one program always open on the right screen. The main application is always in the center screen but any of hte windows that open I want to open on the right screen all the time? Any ideas? Thanks, TIm

UltraMon doesn't support this.

If you only use a few applications regularly, you could configure each application's shortcut to open on the desired monitor (via shortcut properties > UltraMon - Window tab).

Please note that UltraMon will only position the application's main window, any popups/child windows won't get positioned.

Having child windows appear on a different monitor is pretty useless behaviour.

I just started using Ultramon and I was hoping to be able to create a shortcut in Ultramon to allow my Remote Desktop to open up on the right screen. Although, even creating a shortcut that is set to open (maximize) on monitor 2, it still opens on monitor 1. I figured that I'd create a hotkey to run a quick key sequence that will put the Remote Desktop window on the right screen but that will only work when I click on the restore down button and then the hotkey works. Is there a trick to making this work? Thanks in advance for your help!

This should work fine with the 'last used position' option.

To set this up, go to the UltraMon - Window tab of the shortcut, set Show to Last Used Position, then launch the shortcut, position the window as desired, and close it.

The next time you launch the shortcut, UltraMon will restore the window's previous position.
