is it possible to change the text color on the smart taskbar? if you cant change it in ultramon, what does it look at to choose that color?

That's not supported, UltraMon determines the color based on the active theme or system settings.
Are you using Vista? Vista compatibility is planned for the first 3.0 beta, this should also fix the font color issue.

I don't think that is entirely correct. Ultramon isn't looking at my taskbar settings on secondary monitors, only primary. I have a dark taskbar, and the text needs to be white. The primary has white text while the other two that I have are dark text on dark taskbar making them practically unreadable.
I need a way to tell Ultramon to make all taskbar text a white. Is there a fix, registry hack, patch, setting, etc..?
THanks!
Pete.

Are you using WindowBlinds or Windows Vista?

I'm using WindowBlinds, same problem here. Pretty frustrating. :(

2.7 supports overriding the taskbar font color, see this thread for details.
