Hi I have a laptop running wide screen, I want to do a presentation using an external projector which is running 800x600.
I use UltraMon software to mirror my laptop screen to the projector. However my presentation, despite trying every thing is not being screened in the correct aspect ration.
Is there a way to force a wide screen monitor to operate as a conventional one (with black areas each side).

UltraMon mirroring doesn't support that directly, the mirrored image will be stretched to fill the target monitor.
What you could do is use the Monitor Preview feature instead of regular mirroring, you can then manually size and position the preview window as desired on the projector.
