Before I download and install this program, can someone tell me whether or not it is capable of outputting separate resolutions for the two monitors?
I have a relatively old Samsung 710T as my primary monitor, and I want to use a new Sony Bravia HDTV flat-panel TV as my "second" monitor. Problem is, I want to use 1080p on the Bravia but the Samsung doesn't support it. Any ideas?

Do you want to mirror (clone) the monitor on the TV?

Christian,
If that works, then sure. I had planned to queue up what I wanted to watch on my computer monitor and then transfer it over to the TV. As long as I can have my 710T running at 1152x864 and my TV at 1920x1080, then I'll be happy.

Using different resolutions won't be a problem, Windows has built-in support for this.
This will only be an issue if you want to do mirroring, the video card's clone mode requires that both monitors use the same resolution.
UltraMon mirroring can deal with different resolutions, but performance and image quality will suffer. UltraMon mirroring also isn't well-suited to mirroring video applications.
Moving regular applications over to the other monitor shouldn't be a problem, but moving video players or games may not work.
