Hello,

Matrox, Radeon VE and Geforce based dualhead cards don't support overlay for dvd-software players or tv-cards on secondary displays.

So, you very lucky ones who owns hitec Appian cards, how those quality cards work with overlays?

Q1: Is it possible stretch tv- or dvd-window through both (or if you have Pro model, through all 4) displays. The first half part of moving picture is visible on primary display and the other half is in secondry display, you get little videowall. Take a look what I mean:

Q2: Have you used freeware tv-software DScaler with Appian card and can you stretch window to all displays? Software works with tv-cards which have BT848 or 878 chipset.
Dscaler Homepage, you can dowload software from here: http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/

Why I'm interested about Appian cards?

9000USD saving is quite a lot :-)

...grhmmm...

...after little studying it looks like Geforce MX Twinview cards support video overlay on both displays. Does Windvd or PowerDVD work perfectly at 1600x600 or 2048x768 resolutions, anyone?

Even if the Jeronimo 2000 supports overlays on both displays (which is very likely), it won't be of much use with the software you mentioned. What you need is software that can split a single video to multiple monitors, using overlays on each one if available. My VideoSaver screen saver does this. Note that the current implementation doesn't scale too well to more than 4 monitors, due to high resource requirements.

Not sure about the TwinView, but this will certainly only work on Win2000 (due to the operating system recognizing it as a single display).
