Is there a way to minimize only the screen that is in focus with a keyboard shortcut. When I use windows key + D to show desktop, it minimizes both screens. Is there a way to make it so only the screen in focus, or only the screen where the cursor is gets minimized?

Haha, I found you're post because I was looking for the opposite answer...I wanted to know how to minimize BOTH windows at once. I've been using Windows+M to minimize, and was wondering why only the one window was minimizing.
Apparently, to answer both of our questions, Windows+D will minimize both windows (or all windows), and Windows+M will minimize the focused window ONLY.
Thanks for your info, and hopefully this has helped us all a litle. :)

I would like to see a feature to change between minimize all and focused too.
Due to i use the "Show Desktop" icon (Quick launch) I wrote a small program to replace it with the minimize focused.
It's very small and just sends a Win+M keystroke.
Here you can find the exe, icons and source code: http://freddy.eu.org/projects/win-m/
