Is there a way to use the "Enable or disable monitor 2.vbs" without having UltraMon installed? I'm looking for the simpliest possible way to turn on/off my secondary display by running a simple script.
Is it possible by registering some components of UltraMon maybe?
Thanks.

You could install only the main UltraMon feature (deselect Smart Taskbar, Mirroring, etc), then disable automatic startup.
This way you could use the script without having to run UltraMon itself.
Installing the COM components manually is not supported, the redistributable version of the COM components also requires a setup.

Thanks for the fast answer. That would be one option if I can't find any other way.
This isn't related to UltraMon but do you know is there any other ways to do that task? Does the secondary display option generally have global API or any something to able controlling it from a standalone script?

I'm not aware of a built-in way to do this via script, but for applications there is a regular Windows API to change display settings, see the programming section for more on this.
