I have a Plasma Display with a DVI connection and a CRT monitor with a VGA connection. I have a splitter cable that splits the DVI-I output into a DVI-D connection and a Analog VGA D-SUB.
If I plug both monitors in, it automatically enables the plasma and disables the CRT. If I unplug the Plasma, the CRT works.
Is there any way to force the graphics card to output an analog signal so that I can switch between the CRT and Plasma without unplugging cables? Graphics Card is an ATI Radeon X700 Pro,
Thanks

Does your video card have both DVI and VGA connectors? If not, what does it have?

Hi,
It has a VGA socket and a DVI-I Socket,
I'm using the VGA socket as my primary monitor, and the DVI Socket as my secondary. I've got a VGA CRT and a DVI Plasma plugged into the DVI socket.
I want to be able to switch between the two displays when I need to by switching between analog and digital. The nearest I can get is disabling Digital Monitors using ATI Tray Tool, but the settings require a restart, or if I unplug the Plasma, the CRT comes on.
