Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Getting ICQ in out of my primary monitor

Hi,

I have 4 monitors running on 1 computer, my main (and most expensive monitor) is a 17" MAG XJ717, it is for tasks that need my fullest attention, because it's my best monitor which I can view the longest without getting a headache ;)

I have a big 21" black&white EIZO DTP monitor that
has several tasks, at 1600x1200 it can hold 4 windows at the same time.

And I have 2 small 14" for the tasks that need to be vissible all the time, but on which I don't do much work.

My ICQ can't be moved to a secondary monitor, it has to stay on my primary monitor (something I despise because it takes up important desktop space, I would much rather have it run on the same monitor my 24/7 mirc client is on). Does anybody have any tips to help me get rid of this desktopspace hogger?

Thanx

I am very sorry, I should have read the FAQ before posting this message (stupid me)...

If anyone has any more tricks I'm really interested in them, because they don't seem all that well for me

Bastian, use Zmover (www.basta.com) until a new version of icq will be released. This is only way I think.

He's right, as long as you stick to ICQ. I moved to Trillian (www.ceruleanstudios.com) when I noticed that. It supports multiple monitors, is natively skinnable and supports simultaneous AIM/ICQ/Yahoo!/MSN/IRC connections within one program. Recommended.
