I have as Dell Laititude D510. I'm trying to hook up my monitor to the VGA port and run it with an extended desktop. The problem is I can't get my computer to recognize that there is a monitor hooked up to it. I can press F8 and have both my LCD and the monitor show the same thing, but I cant run the extended desktop, even when my computer says I am. Any ideas?
