I'm trying to use UltraMon to setup two different desktops on two different monitors. I have a Dell 2001FP as my primary display and a Samsung LCD TV as my secondary display. Both are plugged into a single 7800GTX. I'm not sure if it is of any consequence, but just to provide as much data as possible, the LCD TV only has a VGA input so I'm using the DVI to VGA converter that comes with the 7800GTX to connect the TV. Also, I am running Windows XP Pro.
I've tried switching the Nvidia options around but nothing seems to work. Its as if I don't even have a second monitor when I'm working in UltraMon.

Do both monitors work fine when Ultramon is not installed?

If UltraMon only sees a single monitor, you're most likely using span mode.
To fix this, switch to Dualview mode under advanced display properties > Nivida tab > nView Display Settings.
