Added Village Tronic's VT Book PCMCIA video adapter to my IBM T43p (2668-NU3) for a second external display (3 total with built-in notebook display as primary)

Only issue I've had with it so far is that in portrait mode (as opposed to landscape mode) it consumes so much CPU the system becomes unusable if content on that monitor is not completely static.

It works fine though in landscape mode. But I really wanted to use it in portrait mode. Don't know if this is T43p specific or VT Book at large.

Yes latest BOIS and Embedded Controller Firmware is installed.

BIOS Version/Date IBM 1YET65WW (1.29, 8/21/2006)
Embedded Controller Firmware Version 1.06
SMBIOS Version 2.33
Physical Memory 1GB (1024MB)
ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300

Discovered another issue.

The following configuration causes the display attached to the notebook's built-in graphics adapter to become disabled upon locking the screen (Ctrl-Alt-Del).

Problem Configuration:
VT Book display enabled + ATI Mobility Radeon X300 attached external display rotated either left or right 90 degrees (90 or 270 degrees) + classic login screen.
