I installed UltraMon 2.7.1. I click the taskbar icon and choose Wallpaper... There I select the radiobutton "a different background/image for each monitor". Then I would expect it to be able to select a wallpaper for monitor 1, and another for monitor 2. But whatever I do, I can only get a wallpaper on monitor 1 - unless of course I stretch one across both monitors which is not what I intend..
Help...

To select a different picture for each monitor, first select the monitor with the mouse, then click on Browse to select a picture for the monitor. Repeat this for each monitor.

That is exactly what I am doing, but even when having selected monitor 2, the wallpaper appears on monitor 1...

I'll chime in here a little. a) When you select each monitor is it reflected as being selected via the bold blue boarder and in the drop down list? b) Perhaps the UltraMon wallpaper file is corrupt or you don't have full permission to it. c) You could create a new UltraMon wallpaper file, selecting 'make available to all users' option, and see if that works correctly.

Thanks for replying. I do have permission to it, and I also tried creating two new wallpapers making them available for all users.
And yes - the monitor selected is marked with a blue border.
I'm thinking maybe the video card (driver) can be causing this? It's an Intel GMA Driver (I guess for the onboard video that comes in this Dell egg I have at work).
Another problem I have is that every time I start Windows I have to set the wallpaper, and that despite UltraMon DOES start with Windows (XP 32 bit).

So far I haven't noticed any wallpaper-related issues with my laptop with an Intel video chipset, my guess would be that this is due to something else.
For further troubleshooting, please send me the .wallpaper file for the wallpaper to support@realtimesoft.com.
The wallpapers are stored in My Documents\My Wallpapers or Shared Documents\Shared Wallpapers.

I had this problem too. The setup is a bit confusing and counter intuitive.
You are not actually choosing two different wallpapers when you click new wallpaper twice. It creates a new profile instead.
What you need to do is click new wallpaper ONCE. Name it whatever. click the primary display, browse to an image, then click secondary display, and browse to a different image, hit apply.

kk i was having the same issue
what i did was created a new wallpaper, highlighted the primary screen and browsed to a pic, then highlighted the secondary screen and browsed to the other pic, then applied the settings.
that was the only way i could get it to work
