I want to create 16 monitor video wall.
I have installed 4 Appian x cards, but the system cant detect more than 10 monitors. PC configuration: motherboard-nforce2ultra, cpu-athlonXP 2800+, 2x512DDR400,HDD IDE80Gb, 4xApian X Quad Pci, Windows NT 4.0 SP6a.
I tried different drivers. When i used default jumpers settings, system detected 8 monitors. But when i used random jumper settings NT detected 10 monitors.
There is no description of jumper settings in internet. How can I solve this problem, as i know NT is the only system that support 16 monitors.
Also i tried to use WinXP SP2, system detected 16 monitors but only 10 monitors were active, because WinXP installed 4 video cards like 16 different cards & 6 video cards weren't active.

On XP you could use UltraMon to configure monitors 11-16.

The system supports more than 10 monitors, but Display Properties doesn't.

When I open device manager there are 16 cards installed, but 6 of them are not enabled(can't be started) & they are marked with yellow exclamation sign.

I downloaded Ultramon, but i cant understand how can i control the monitor position with Ultramon if the system cant suport it.

Sounds like a hardware/display driver issue, UltraMon won't help with this.

But once all video cards/monitors are working according to device manager, you'll be able to configure settings for the monitors via UltraMon.

Display Properties > Settings will still only show the first 10 monitors.

I wonder will your software be able to support more than 16 monitors if all video cards are same model driver like matrox etc. Can it handle more than 16 monitors like 20 or 24 monitors if it is colorgraphic xentea GT 8 port pci each 3 cards.
THanks

No problem as far as UltraMon is concerned, but more than 16 monitors frequently seems to cause problems for Windows.

Keep in mind that it's still Windows which handles the monitors, UltraMon only does configuration.
