I have 4 monitors configured in a block 2 on top of 2 and need to stretch or maximize a window across only three monitors. So the other one I can use for other apps. Please advise on how this can be done.

This isn't possible with your current monitor configuration, you would need to put 3 monitors on a row and place the 4th monitor at the side or on top.
