Hi all
When I play a video fullscreen in my primary monitor (widescreen), then focus on a window on the secondary screen (e.g. an IM window), the taskbar on the primary monitor shows over the video, even if WMP11 is set to play on top.
Anyone know how to get round this? It's a minor niggle but it kinda impacts on the novelty of watching a movie fullscreen while working etc on the secondary monitor.
Any help would be much appreciated :) Great program, by the way!!

This is by design for the Windows taskbar, UltraMon doesn't have a workaround for this.
One thing you could do would be to play the video fullscreen on the secondary monitor.
This works fine with WMP11, and the UltraMon taskbar will remain hidden even if WMP doesn't have the focus.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I don't really want to run the video on the second monitor since the primary one is widescreen (one of the reasons I bought it was so I could watch movies) but it's not that big a deal, it's just a minor niggle.
Thanks for your reply and for developing this fantastic software!

I'm having another problem, not sure if it is UltraMon related.
I can't have video playing on my extended (secondary) screen without it showing on my primary screen, and that's really annoying. How can I have it display only on the extended screen?
I have an ATi 9800XT. I've messed around with the Theatre Mode settings but I can't get the configuration I want, no matter how many choices I make.
Can anyone help me out? It's a really simple request :(

Nevermind, I solved the problem. ATi's control centre isn't the most intuitive program in the world!!

Right-click on the taskbar. Uncheck "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows".
Voila! You can watch a movie on your widescreen monitor and work/surf on your main monitor with no intrusion from the taskbar. :)
