Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Odd behavior when running apps with alternate credentials (run-as)

I can't find anything on this so I figured I'd post something.

I've been a longtime user of UltraMon on windows XP. I noticed not too long ago that if I run a program with alternate credentials (run-as), I lose functionality with the taskbar.

I'm assuming it's due to the program running under an alternate session, but the windows taskbar works fine so I'm sure a certain amount of programming can remedy it. Just wanted to bring it to your attention if you weren't already aware to possibly factor this into future builds.

Thank you,
Matthew

The problem is that those processes can't get hooked, so UltraMon doesn't get notified when they get moved.

I'm going to look into this for UltraMon 3, UltraMon already does special processing for console processes, which also can't be hooked.
