Hi - I have an issue with a 3-monitor display, looking for some help. I had it set up fine for years, all 3 functioning as 1 big desktop, but I recently moved and when I hooked up my computer again at the new place, it was recognizing FOUR monitors! Additionally, the computer is crashing all the time now; I believe the problems are related. Does anyone know how to delete a monitor, i.e remove it from the Display - Settings window? It currently has my 3 monitors and then a 4th that I've "shrunk" by dropping the reolution to nothing. I'm baffled, any help would be appreciated.

Do you have two dualhead video cards installed? If yes, you'll usually have a 4th disabled monitor listed in Display Properties, but this shouldn't cause any problems.

No, I have 1 single card and one dual, but the problem seems to have corrected itself. Weird. Thanks anyway.
