I have at least one application that displays new windows (for settings, etc) where the move window button from ultramon covers the close window button (the X) in Windows XP. If I try to close these windows, I almost always end up chasing them from screen to screen, then leaving them open until I close the entire program using the File Exit approach.
Is there a solution for this? The one that bothers me most is one from a small software company; is there some information I can give them so they can fix their interface?

I would recommend disabling the UltraMon window buttons for this application, this probably can't be fixed in the application.
To do this, go to UltraMon Options > Window Title Bar and add the application's executable to the exclusion list.
